El pasado 24 de junio pudimos disfrutar del encuentro organizado por el Instituto Español para el Diseño Sostenible en la escuela de Diseño CENP en el que se expusieron las diferentes herramientas de validación energéticas puestas a disposición de los proyectistas.
El por qué de la necesidad de esta evaluación energética, nos lo explicó D. Arcadio García Lastra -de la Asociación Técnica Española de Climatización y Refrigeración ATECYR – quien expuso el marco legal español sobre la evaluación energética de los proyectos y, de paso, enseñó las características del método abreviado CERMA.
Hyung Min Lee, doctorando en tecnología BIM y Consultor BIM -GreenDI CONSULT- expuso en qué consisten los software que siguen esta metodología (BIM es acrónimo de Building Information Modeling) y que no es otra que un protocolo en el tratamiento de la información del proyecto y de sus componentes en todas las fases de desarrollo.
Las principales ventajas en la aplicacuión de esta metodología es que se mantiene el 100% de la información del proyecto en el proceso, se reducen los errores y se compatibiliza la comunicación entre programas permitiendo la obtención de mediciones, cálculos, pliegos y certificaciones desde el principio. Se reduce así mismo el tiempo de redacción de proyecto.
Le siguieron los principales fabricantes de software que aplican esta metodología en sus productos.
D. Andrés López , Director General de GRAPHISOFT España, D. Miguel Villamor, Director Gerente de NEMETSCHEK España, y D. Pablo Barón Osés , Responsable de Desarrollo de Negocio de Arquitectura, Ingeniería y Edificación de AUTODESK, expusieron las características principales de los diferentes programas: Archicad, AllPlan yRevit Autodesk.
Se concluyo con una mesa redonda en que se respondieron a las diferentes preguntas del público presente.
Una Conclusión interesante: los estudios que sobreviven están trabajando con programas BIM.
Journey debate on energy assessment software in the project.
On past June 24 we enjoyed tje meeting organized by the Spanish Institute for Sustainable Design -Instituto Español para el Diseño Sostenible IEDS- at the School of Design CENP in which the various energy validation tools available to project were outlined.
The reason for the need for this energy assessment was explained by Mr. Arcadio García-Lastra, from the Spanish Technical Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration ATECYR. He described the Spanish legal framework on projects’ energy evaluation and also he showed features about CERMA program.
Min Hyung Lee, doctoral student in BIM technology and Consultant BIM, exposed what they consist of software that follow this methodology (BIM=Building Information Modeling) and that is nothing but a protocol in the information processing of the project and its components in all phases of development.
The main advantages in aplicacuión of this methodology is that it keeps 100% of project information in the process, reducing errors and it guarantees communication between programs allowing the collection of measurements, calculations, specifications and certifications from the beginning . Also it reduces the time project.
He was followed by major software vendors that implement this methodology for their products.

The session concluded with a roundtable that responded to different questions from the audience.
One interesting conclusion: the project offices that survive are working with BIM programs.
